Registration Fee
An annual non- refundable one time registration fee of
$35.00 is due at registration. The tuition
for your child's first week is also due at registration. This will secure your child's slot with Kindersteps for one
week only.
After one week you must continue to pay your child's tuition
to secure his or her slot.
Contracts
Our contracts are re-signed each year in the month of January.
Company vacation
Kindersteps takes one week vacation
each year in the month of July. Vacation dates are given to parents at the beginning of each year in January
so that they can prepare their timing and calendars.
Tuition
Tuition is due each Monday by
close of business at 6:00 pm. Tuition paid
after 6:00 pm will be considered late and the account will be
charged a late tuition fee of $25.00 for the first day not to exceed Tuesday.
Failure to pay tuition and late fees by Tuesday could result
in termination of your contract, and lose of your child's slot.
Parents have the option of paying tuition weekly, bi-weekly,
or monthly.
Potty "Assistance"
KinderSteps encourages potty training to start at home. We
have learned the rule of thumb is that children should be potty trained by age two. All children are different
and should not be pressured to start potty training before this time. They can be introduced to the "potty" or toilet
as early as 19 months based on their level of communication. However, they may not be emotionally or psychologically
ready to be completely potty trained. Before we begin to assist parents we require that your child be off
of the bottle and sip cup completely. This works against the learning process when the bladder is always full, and makes
it difficult for the child to determine when they should ask for the toilet. This is also a sign that they are not quit
ready. Children should be able to communicate that they have to "GO". Although we frequent the bathroom to began a schedule
so that each child can relate going the bathroom, and relieving themselves in the toilet, not the diaper or a pull -up.
Potty assistance is included in your tuition. There is no extra fee because we are working together
in the same goal. Our program focuses on encouraging children positively to meet their milestones in growth and development.
Sucessful potty training allows your child to feel a since of accomplishment and develops his or her self esteem.
Pick~Up
KinderSteps closes promptly at 6:00 pm.
Late Pick-up Fee
There is a late fee of $10.00 after the first
5 minutes.
There is a $1.00 fee for every minute thereafter.
This policy will apply to early closing due to weather. If a child has not been picked up by 6:30 p.m. we will
begin to call the persons on the emergency pick-up list. Refusing to pick-up your child could be viewed as signs of
abandonment. Upon which we will seek outside assistance.
Saturday Camp
Kindersteps no longer offers Saturday camp.
